In this episode, Lynne Innes talks to Meritxell (Meri) Miret Gonzalez, Mortuary Manager and Anatomical Pathology Technologist, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust who discusses creating a virtual viewings service during COVID that enabled bereaved relatives to view their deceased relatives during times of strict travel and visitor restrictions. Meri also discusses creating a unique 6-month training programme to develop Care After Death Guardians - advocates for the deceased and their bereaved during their journey in the Trust.
