Ulla Henningsen læser uddrag fra Stig Dalagers monolog "Jeg kunne ikke fortælle min historie", og Stig Dalager fortæller om baggrunden for monologen.

Mika Filborne har dedikeret nummeret "Oceans" til denne podcast.

Alle tre kan opleves "live" til festivalåbningen, fredag den 10.8. 2018 i Apostelkirken på Vesterbro.

Monologen skildrer en kvinde, der via flygtningelejren Moria, på Lesbos i Grækenland, kommer til Danmark. Hun er flygtet fra Aleppo i Syrien. På rejsen over Middelhavet druknede hendes mand, der ikke kunne svømme. Hendes barn dør i flygtningevejren af sygdom.

Stig Dalager beretter om hvorfor det er så svært at finde frem til skildringer af det liv, der leves mange steder i europæiske flygtningelejre, fordi det menneskeligt set er et humanistisk svigt af dimensioner at det sker - her og nu. Og at vi tillader at det sker.
