The Best Advent Sermons Ever: Christmas Carols

Most of the best Christmas sermons ever preached have not been preached from pulpits. They have been preached through literature, songs, and other art forms. This series explores the biblical truths illustrated by these great “sermons.” This week we look at Luke 2:8-20 and the music that has grown from that first “Christmas Carol” that the angels sang to the shepherds in the fields. These carols proclaim the gospel greater than almost any other “sermons” in history, and they remind us to walk in joy all throughout the year.
