It is clear that some people just like being angry.
Or they are afraid of letting go of their anger.
Probably the latter.----more----
What I am told by people who are angry is that their anger provides them with the motivation to work to create change.
I can understand that.
The problem is that people who are really angry rarely are able to solve their problems.
Why?
Because they are clinging so tightly to their anger they are unable to take a step back to survey the problem from a different perspective.
And a different perspective may be just what is required to actually solve the problem.
Don’t fall into this trap.
Anger, while motivating, interferes with effective problem solving.
If you find yourself having trouble letting go of your anger, ask yourself this question. Would you rather be angry? Or would you rather solve my problem.
