Zombie Apocalypse

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

What is or should be the Humanist response to a Zombie Apocalypse? ----more----

If there really was a zombie apocalypse, it would be a medical crisis.

Don’t get me wrong, I love me a good zombie movie.

But, a violent military solution to a medical crisis is ethically horrifying to me.

The military solution dehumanizes the victims of a life altering disease.

That isn’t the Humanist way.

Which is why I think Shaun of the Dead is one of the best zombie movies ever. 

They managed to provide an entertaining Humanist solution to the zombie problem.

The movie ends with them providing continuing and humane care to those who were infected.

That’s how a Humanist handles zombies.
