Shocktober continues with Part 2 of this year's lineup! This week, Jon, David & Brent are back with an extra deep-dive into Fred Dekker's THE MONSTER SQUAD! The evolution of the story, homages to the classic Universal horror films of the 30's & 40s, Fred Dekker/Shane Black team-ups, the casting of the film, the film's failure and eventual cult status, it's return to popularity in the late 2000s, and the biggest question of all: do the language and characterizations hold up today?
