Managing Expectations While Having Gratitude with Jae Day

 

The lovely Jae Day joins Maegan in the garden to talk about managing expectations while in a toxic relationship. Life has so many expectations already and when we have high expectations with a narcissist it is really hard to stay grounded. Narcissists are good at empty promises and saying they will deliver your dreams to then turn around and abuse you and not deliver those expectations.  Finding gratitude in those moments can help ease the pain of the letdown, keep you connected with you, and raise your vibration to begin to gain your control back of your own expectations. Staying connected to who you really are is key in dealing with a Narcissist.
