JESUS LOVES HIS CHURCH

The Revelation – Part 1

Revelation 1:3 - Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

Revelation 1:13 - Among the [seven] lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.

JESUS IS WITH HIS CHURCH

1. Live Your First Love :: Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7)

Revelation 2:4 - I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 

2. Keep The Faith :: Smyrna (Revelation 2:8-11)

Revelation 2:9 - I know about your suffering and your poverty—but you are rich! 

3. Resist Evil :: Pergamos (Revelation 2:12-17)

Revelation 2:13 - I know where you live. You live where Satan rules. But you keep my name and you have never said that you do not believe in me.

4. Oppose False Teaching :: Thyatira (Revelation 2:18-29)

Revelation 2:24 - For the rest of you in Thyatira who have not followed this false teaching (‘deeper truths,’ as they call them—depths of Satan, actually). I will ask nothing more of you [25] except that you hold tightly to what you have until I come.

5. Walk In Purity :: Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6)

Revelation 3:4 - Yet there are some in the church in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes with evil. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

6. Never Give Up :: Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13)

Revelation 3:10 - Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.

7. Guard Your Passion :: Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22)

Revelation 3:16 - But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!
