GUEST OVERVIEW: Elizabeth G. Boulton, PhD is an eco-security theorist with Destination Safe Earth. Her doctoral research at the Australian National University developed the idea that climate change and ecological crisis constitutes a new form of threat – a hyper threat. She then applied modified military threat analysis and strategic planning tools to investigate options for a hyper-response. This led to "PLAN E" – the world’s first climate and eco-centered security strategy.
