We tend to be silent when injustice and criminal behavior doesn't impact us directly. If we stay laser focused on only one demographic (us), then we will move slower toward reform. People of color were some of the earliest supporters of the Women's Suffrage movement in the 1850's. We all support the same cause, and that's to eliminate government corruption and promote Civil Rights.
