As we embark on our journey of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving this Lenten season, let us remember that the restlessness we experience in fasting is not merely a hunger of the body, but a hunger of the soul longing for communion with God. Through prayer, we open ourselves up to His grace, finding solace in His presence and strength in our weakness. And as we give alms, let us extend the love and compassion of Christ to our neighbors in need.
