🕒 Case Lineup 🔹 Hanna Marie Mack – A joyful 6-year-old girl from Navarro County, Texas, who was brutally murdered in 2007. DNA evidence later led to Shaun Arender, who implicated Kevin Anders in the crime. Despite chilling testimony, Anders was never charged with murder. 🔹 Henry X. Smith – A 43-year-old man from Laurel, Indiana, killed in the 2011 “Laurel Five” murders while trying to save a child. He was posthumously hailed as a hero, though his grave remains unmarked. The killer, David Ison, is serving life without parole. 🔹 James Lee Appleton – A former Arkansas church deacon murdered in 2017 by ex-police chief Grant Hardin. Hardin was convicted and later linked to a 1997 rape case. In 2025, he escaped prison and was recaptured 13 days later. 🔹 Louisa Dunne – A 75-year-old widow from Bristol, England, raped and murdered in her home in 1967. The case was solved in 2025 using forensic DNA and palm print evidence, leading to the conviction of 92-year-old Ryland Headley. 🔹 Steven Kilwein – A beloved family man and retired contractor murdered in Bozeman, Montana in 2021. After years of investigation, Austin Clowes was arrested in 2024. The case is set for trial in July 2025.
