For this podcast we recorded the second part of the FlagshipKansas.Tech Scaling Up Tech event, held on October 16, 2019, in Wichita, Kansas.
As the official podcast partner of FlagshipKansas, the technology council for the state of Kansas we were able to capture most of the chats and discussion between the founders of three local technology companies. These chats are real, first-hand, authentic accounts of what happened to a business on their way to rapid growth, what happened when another business is acquired by an industry leader, and what is happening as an entrepreneur is currently scaling with successful funding.
The chats were hosted by Lisa Roberts, the Executive Director for FlagshipKansas and the speakers included Dana Wright, a managing director at MATH Venture Partners. Dana is a leading voice on fundraising strategy, leadership during extreme growth, managing board dynamics, and optimizing for an exit. Also on the panel was Molly Breitenbach, a Senior Manager with BKD, a regional CPA firm. Molly is focused on the technology sector. From Intrust Bank, the panel included Steve Castro-Miller, a managing director for technology and Josh Oeding, Founder and Managing Member of Accelerate Venture Partners.
In these chats you will learn from the first hand stories of the speakers how they were able to not only get started on the entrepreneurial journey but grow their business and learn to respond to the changing demands of their markets and customers.
This event was sponsored by Foreman Law, BKD, CPAs and Advisors and Intrust Bank. We also want to recognize the organizations that support and lead the technology council here in Kansas: Flint Hills Group, Cornerstone Data, CallCap, NetApp, High Touch Technologies and the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas.
Be sure and check out sponsors for Saunders and Cash and let then know you found them right here: Foreman Law, Retreat To Joy, FlagshipKansas.tech, SCKEDD, Lee Gray Action Coach, Friends University, Shaken not Stirred Bartending, and 2UAuto.
