Beware of False Messengers and Messages

We live in an age in which we are bombarded with information, and even well-meaning Christians can be deceived by false teachers peddling messages that conflict with the Word of God.  Scripture encourages us to look at the source and the motivation behind it.  Is it about entitlement or sacrifice?  Does it talk about what we can get rather than what we can give?  Does the messenger promote liberty or captivity?  Let us approach these messages with discernment and heed the teachings of God.
