#10 The King We Want vs The King We Need (John 6:1-21)

People politize Jesus today but also did it back in His time. We want God to serve us instead of being servants open to His will. These desires tend to come from a place of fear. Fear unchecked often leads to anger.  It's easy to be tempted to judge non-Christians for a lack of morality but what about us Christians? When we are just as hateful and yet "have" the truth. God is inviting us to own our brokenness and our desperate need for the Holy Spirit to make us more like the real Jesus - to show His light.
