- U.S. weather will remain favorable for rain east of the Rocky Mountains, although some net drying is expected in a part of the central and interior southern Plains, portions of the Delta and parts of the Tennessee River Basin
- these drier tendencies will evolve slowly, but will eventually become notable
- No extreme heat is expected in North America during the next two weeks
- Far western U.S. weather will remain dry biased; including the Pacific Northwest
- Rain is expected in southwestern Canada's Prairies early this week and other areas may get some rain during the weekend and next week
- France and the Lower Danube River Basin will remain too dry this week, although northern France will get some rain late this week and during the weekend
- Temperatures in Europe will be closer to normal this week instead of being above normal as suggested last Friday
- Mostly good weather will prevail in China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Brazil and Argentina
- Some rain is expected in Argentina wheat areas during mid-week this week
- Southern India will start to receive some rain this weekend and continue into next week; however, Maharashtra and parts of Tamil Nadu will remain dry
- Other areas in India will be plenty wet
- Australia weather will continue fair, but grater rain is needed in Queensland, northern New South Wales, interior South Australia and eastern parts of Western Australia
