Mount Pleasant cruised to a 42-8 win as early turnovers and relentless defense set the tone. The Panthers forced key fumbles and interceptions, piling up sacks and tackles for loss to shut down their opponent for most of the game.
Offensively the line controlled the line of scrimmage with multiple pancake blocks, while the quarterback protected the ball and connected on big plays, including a 74-yard touchdown. Special teams contributed with a blocked punt for a touchdown and consistent kicking.
