Redeeming the Time

Time is one of the most precious gifts God has given us—and yet, it’s one we can never get back once it’s gone. Every sunrise is a fresh reminder that we’ve been given another opportunity to live purposefully for God.

Think of Nehemiah. When he heard that Jerusalem’s walls were broken down, he didn’t waste time in fear or frustration. He prayed, planned, and acted swiftly. In just 52 days, the walls were rebuilt because he recognized the urgency of the moment. Nehemiah teaches us that when we walk in purpose and obedience, we make every moment count for God’s glory.

Redeeming the time isn’t about being busy—it’s about being intentional. It’s choosing prayer over procrastination, purpose over distraction, and obedience over delay. Each day holds opportunities to serve, love, grow, and share Christ, but we must be alert to seize them.

The truth is, time slips away quietly. That’s why God calls us to live wisely—prioritizing what truly matters and investing our time in things that have eternal value.
