Episode Summary:
History isn’t just about what happened, it’s about what’s remembered. Too often, Black history gets buried under silence, while white history gets polished, archived, and displayed like fine china. One story gets footnotes, the other gets headlines. It’s not that Black contributions didn’t shape the foundation of this country, they did but the telling of history has always been selective. The wit in the tragedy is this: erasure takes work. Someone had to actively edit, omit, and reframe the narrative. And yet, truth has a way of surfacing, because buried history isn’t dead it’s just waiting to be resurrected.
