Guess That Record returns with Jackson interviewing music executive Jonathan Simkin! With a background in law, Jonathan helped launch the career of Nickelback. Following this, Jonathan formed 604 Records with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. The label has been home to many successful artists like Carly Rae Jepsen, Marianas Trench, and Theory of a Deadman. In the episode, Jackson and Jonathan talk about how he ended up in the music business despite not coming from a musical background, how 604 Records was founded, and what they've done to achieve success.
