PG13 | God & Sex // Redeemed Living

Our goal for this series is to open people’s eyes to the sensual culture we are living in and how to lead a life that is God-honoring. Sensuality has creeped in on us so subtly that it is a part of all our lives. Porn addiction is at an all-time high among men and women. Marital infidelity is the norm. Work place romance outside of marriage is common. Abusing what God has called sacred is causing wounds in men and women that are carried throughout life. We have forgotten how to claim purity as an identity, or maybe we never knew how.  Sexuality is how God made us. Women long for love and use sexuality to get false love. Men long for acceptance and approval and use love and sex to feel adequate. What’s confusing is that erotic sexual behavior feels good. It seems to fill a void. It seems to confirm our nature. It seems to answer our questions. It seems to give us power. What we find though, is that it is counterfeit. It creates distance, fills our lives with a void, brings insecurity, and is never satisfied.
