Welcome to our Christmas Pod (for the second time). It's 1988 and behind the glorious Simon Bisley cover we're looking at a whole bunch of Festive Feechas, once we're done gatekeeping the work of Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. 

Uriah Heep are playing a Christmas festival, there's some surprising news about Marillion and we explore the connection between mystical unicorns and Gary Moore.

Most of the Korrespondents in this issue are writing in to defend(er) Manowar, while we find ourselves inexplicably preoccupied by an advert for FIST. Did you ever FIST? Let us know!

(During the recording of this episode, one of the cats jumped up on the keyboard, somehow switched it on and started playing the piano in a sort of free jazz, Keith Tippett style. Unfortunately our microphones completely failed to pick up the audio, but if you wonder why we start asking her if she wants to play any more, that's the reason)
