Sam Gervase & The Home Initiative in Austin

Sam Gervase is a Policy Advisor in Mayor Pro Tem Pool’s office focused on housing and land use policy. Prior to joining City Council staff, Sam was a Program Director at It’s Time Texas, a non-profit providing statewide nutrition & fitness educational programing. Sam is a Leadership Austin Essentials graduate and currently serves as the Chair of the East Communities YMCA Community Advancement Board. He is a graduate of Boston College and spends his free time beekeeping, making candles, and taking advantage of Austin’s great outdoors.
