Markus Zakaria is a sound designer, audio engineer and producer now residing in NYC, by way of Florida and Dubai, with a decade of experience working in the entertainment industry. From sound designing television content for CBS, to producing audio for companies such as MTV and Spotify, Markus is now bringing his experience in audio storytelling and production to the world of international relations at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). As associate podcast producer and audio engineer for the organization, as well as the sound designer for CFR's latest podcast, Why It Matters, Markus works to improve the audio quality and studio capabilities across the institution, while producing engaging audio experiences that will continue to widen the the door for everyday people to participate in the important issues going on around the world.
