On the surface, Attack the Block may not have a lot in common with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. However this sci-fi horror comedy film does come from Edgar Wright, marking the first time the director produced a film he did not direct. And directing the film is Joe Cornish, Wright's co-writer on the Steven Spielberg film The Adventures of Tintin.
