In short, 3.8km swim 180km bike and a full marathon 42km, in total, around 11 hours of racing and he rode himself into the studio for a chat with gough. They talk about why he chose this sport and why he keeps doing it. They discuss the recent world championships in France which David competed in. They also chat about his training schedule, nutrition and just what goes into being an iron man, plus what the body goes through during and then after a race, along with what happens when you need to go to the bathroom during a race.
