The Buffalo Bills extended their preseason winning streak to nine games by beating the Indianapolis Colts. But most importantly, the Bills escaped without any major injuries. But hosts Jamie D'Amico and big Chris Newton see a couple of other items they found encouraging. Among them are the performances of some backup players, including linebacker Joe Giles-Harris, running back Duke Johnson, and defensive tackle Tim Settle.
They also were happy with the performance of a pair of rookie cornerbacks, Kaiir Elam and Christian Benford, as well as fellow rookie, linebacker Baylon Spector.
The focus then shifted to comments made by Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders. Neon Deion believes that he should be considered to be on a higher level than other Hall of Famers. Yes, Bruce Smith made comments specifically about tackle Tony Boselli, but Sanders went full "Primetime" in his comment. That said, D'Amico believes that too many players get the honor, while Newton agrees with Sanders that there should be a higher level of recognition.
