The Orlando Magic took care of Aaron Gordon quickly, signing him to a four-year, $76-million deal on the first day of free agency. It was a deal that ended up being extremely team friendly and sets the team up well for the future, while protecting them if Gordon does not continue his progression.
It is very different from what has happened for other players on the restricted free agent market. It seems finishing up the deal quickly saved the Magic a lot of headaches and a lot of money.
