Rianna with Dr. Heather Logan Sprenger on Hydration, Performance, National Women‘s Hockey and Cycling

On this episode we dive into: Hydration, Heat exhaustion, training adaption, and performance with Dr. Logan Sprenger who received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Human Health & Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph, Guelph, ON. Her graduate research was funded by the Gatorade Sport Science Institute (GSSI) where Dr. Sprenger’s speciality involved investigating the effects of exercise-induced dehydration on physiological responses, substrate oxidation, muscle metabolism, and performance.

We first start off chatting about Dr. Logan Sprenger's incredible story as a two-sport National Team athlete with a combined 15 years experience competing at the international level in both ice hockey and professional road cycling.
