Perseverance in Persecution

This week, we are talking about Perseverance in Persecution. Often times, we are not told that when we join the Kingdom of God that we will be persecuted. Persecution comes in many different ways but our mind must be made up to Persevere. To persevere means to "go through it"! It means to persist in a state, enterprise or undertaking in spite of counter influences, opposition or discouragement. Jesus informed the disciples that the world persecuted him and they would persecute them. Believe it or not, there are also great rewards in heaven for being persecuted for Christ' sake. As you listen, I pray that you are encouraged and inspired to persevere any persecution that you maybe going through today. And always remember that God is with you through it all.
