It’s About Your Availability
On Daily Faith, our guest today is Pastor Rick McNeely. Together with his wife, Debbie, they lead Christ Community Church in Murphysboro, IL. For more than twenty years, Pastor Rick has traveled extensively around the globe as a missionary evangelist, spreading the Good News of the Gospel and teaching others how God can use anyone. Today, Pastor Rick shares the passion in his heart about the word of God and encourages you that you don’t have to have it all together and worked out in life for God to use you; God can use you right here you are. Whether you’re at home, at work, at the grocery store, or on the mission field in another country, God can use you if you are willing. God has graciously given gifts and talents to us to be used mightily in the Kingdom of God for our Earthly benefit. You may not know what to say, but the Holy Spirit will guide you and show you what to do. It comes down to the posture of your heart. God is not looking for your ability but rather your availability. Ask yourself, “What can I do for the Lord today?” What has God called you to that requires your yes? We want to encourage your walk of faith; though the journey may be extended and rough, God is working to bring about a greater purpose in your life. We have saved countless lives from living in despair and turmoil for over thirty years. Due to poverty and the lack of social support, many helpless children are forced to grow up in an orphanage, fearing they will never know the love of a family. When they come of age, they are kicked out of the orphanages and sent back to their villages. The desperation to find a new way of life brings about the real risks of human trafficking. The Orphans Hands is the point of intersection for these kids. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village, and before the Russian war on Ukraine, we had a home in Odessa. No longer orphans; they are sons and daughters missionaries for the Kingdom of God! As we have helped provide and care for the needs of our children, they have, in turn, shared the same love and care they have received with the Ukrainian refugees. They are using their gifts and talents to share the love of Jesus with others. Our convoys of grace are sparking hope in the hearts of many by supplying food, warm blankets, and a listening ear to a desperate community. Thank you for your continued prayers and generous support that help make this possible!
