Join me as I catch up with Loch ness Exploration founder - Alan McKenna - to discuss his growing group of Loch Ness 'exploratoirees' and their mission to reignite public passion for proving Nessie, via coordinated observation and technological investigation!

We discuss the credibility of the theories surrounding a transient Nessie presence, fuelled by occasional visitors from the sea, to the possibility that the beast represents a small, long lived population of resident reptiles, that have inhabited the loch since the time before time!
We also critique the 7 rivers of Loch ness and the river mouth, or Inver Village theory, (Inver, meaning river mouth in Scots Gaelic) which proposes that since the majority of all Nessie sightings (that are not mid loch sightings) are observed around these river mouths, that these are likely hotspots where we are likely to capture evidence of our predatory cryptid in action!
