Hey there Cubies! Games have gone through many different phases. From the underground phase of being made and played using college and company computers in people's downtime, to an angry teenager scene to now a very professional product. The growth is amazing to witness but it has left us with a question. And that is have games lost their edge? Are they just rinse and repeat and do not push the envelope any longer. In the past games like DOOM and GTA would push the boundaries of content and technological capabilities. But now they feel tame and the norm. So what games are keeping that edge? Or has the industry become too professional?
