We are joined today by Kate Faulkner OBE, Chair of the Home Buying and Selling Group. She is one of the UK’s leading property experts. She is passionate that most of the problems in the residential property market can be solved if the media industry and government work together to educate consumers on how to carry out property projects.
The Digital Property Market Steering Group (DPMSG) is formed of a cross-section of institutions and bodies representing both the commercial and residential sectors. It has a shared goal of accelerating change to a digital property market whilst ensuring it is transparent, secure, and user-friendly. Much good progress has already been made through innovation within the market generally and by collaborative initiatives like the Home Buying and Selling Group (HBSG). The DPMSG members' aims are to support all that by ensuring their collective and individual actions are conducive to that healthy progress. It’s all about pulling together to remove the barriers, fill in the gaps, and speed up progress to a simpler faster and less stressful process.
