Do you have a fear of rejection? Do you procrastinate prospecting because you don’t want to get rejected? Or, is it a hit-or-miss scenario and you don’t think you fear rejection but aren’t completely sure?
Most financial advisors, insurance agents, wholesalers, branch managers, and even agency managers have some form of fear of rejection. They have never really looked at rejection as being on a spectrum or know where they fall on that rejection spectrum.
Suppose you think of the rejection spectrum on a scale rating from 1-10 (1 being not afraid of rejection and 10 being completely afraid of rejection- to the point that you take rejection personally). Most individuals fall somewhere in the middle or on the higher end. Wherever you fall on the rejection spectrum, it may be for different reasons than your peers.
