Veľké dejiny sú plné menších príbehov, na ktoré sa často zabúda. Poznáme hlavné postavy, doslova hlavných hrdinov zlomových situácií, ale už menej alebo vôbec nepoznáme príbehy ich najbližších.

Pri príležitosti 80. výročia SNP, sme sa na niektoré z nich rozhodli zmapovať.

Jednou z dôležitých postáv SNP je vtedajší guvernér Národnej banky, Imrich Karvaš.

Spolu so svojimi spolupracovníkmi vymysleli plán ako na budúce povstalecké územie previezť zásoby

potravín, paliva, zdravotníckeho a iného materiálu a financie.

Ako sa toto jeho odvážne a statočné konanie odrazilo na ňom a na jeho rodine – s manželkou mali tri deti – sa porozprávame s Ľubicou Karvašovou, vnučkou Imricha Karvaša.
