James Meyers, III considers the wonderful account of the Syro-Phoenician woman who met with Christ, imploring Christ to heal her suffering daughter. It is one of James’s favorite encounters between Christ and another found in the Gospels. The account can be found in the Gospel of St. Matthew 15:21-28 and the Gospel of St. Mark 7:24-30.
