Vi er endelig tilbake! I dag er temaet immunsvikt. Medfødt immunsvikt er en gruppe sjeldne sykdommer som hovedsakelig kjennetegnes ved økt infeksjonstendens, samt overhyppighet av autoimmunitet og malignitet - særlig hos eldre barn. Tilstandene skyldes medfødte mutasjoner i gener som er viktige for immunsystemets funksjon, hver for seg er tilstandene sjeldne, men som en samlet gruppe finnes det over 500 pasienter i Norge.   

Med oss i studio i dag har vi overlege Hans Christian Erichsen Landsverk ved avdeling for barnemedisin og transplantasjon ved OUS Rikshospitalet.
