Dagens tema er kongenitte infeksjoner.  

Hva kjennetegner en kongenitt infeksjon, hvordan setter vi rett diagnose, finnes det noen behandling og hvordan er prognosen for de som blir syke? 

I episoden brukes akronymet TORCHES CLAP – men er ikke fullstendig gjengitt. Følgende er korrekt: TOxoplasmosis, Rubella, CMV, Herpes simplex, Enterovirus, Syfilis, Chicken Pox, Lyme disease, Aids, Parvovirus. 

Med oss i studio er Anne Karin Brigtsen, overlege på nyfødtintensiv OUS. Anne Karin har tidligere gjestet podcasten under temaet bakterielle infeksjoner hos nyfødte.
