On this week’s episode, Field Trial & Hunt Test Program Manager, Domenick Muoio sits down with Hunting Retriever Club President, Glen Scarborough. Glen shares the story about his first dog and an unfortunate shooting accident that ultimately led him to get started with HRC. Glen talks about the new pup he’s currently training, and the guys swap stories about other hunting retrievers they’ve trained and campaigned over the years. We also hear their memorable first hunt test experiences. The guys also outline HRC as an organization and touch on the important functions and operations of HRC and the integral relationships and contributions from its members, field reps, judges, officers, and clubs. Finally, they share a few jokes from previous tests and then offer up some helpful tips for handlers to develop a better understanding for the game.
