In this episode, I hosted Avigayil Lewin, Director of Product at Duda, for a fascinating conversation about her journey from the world of marketing and diamonds, through her experiences in Hong Kong and freelancing, to leading product in a website-building platform company. We discussed how Avigayil found herself in product management “by accident”—realizing that a small startup she worked at needed someone to fill the product manager role, and teaching herself how to do it on the job.
Avigayil shared strategies Duda uses to stand out in a highly competitive market, and how the company helps thousands of agencies build, manage, and optimize dozens (even hundreds) of websites for their clients. We also talked about AI-driven tools, the balance between self-service and sales-led models, and how taking risks and thinking big are crucial qualities for product managers in their day-to-day roles.
