Sammen går de i dybden på hvordan 22. juli skapte et spontant fellesskap, og hvilken rolle nasjonalromantikk, roser og fortellinger spilte i denne prosessen. Hvorfor søkte nordmenn trøst i fellesskapet etter sjokket? Hva sier dette om oss som samfunn? Til slutt ser de på hvordan sosiologiske klassikere fortsatt kan gi oss verdifulle innsikter i dag.
