In this conversation with Vicki Hoefle, founder of Parenting On Track, we talk with Barbara Norman. Barbara Norman is the founder of the Women’s Financial Academy, an organization where women come together to work in small groups, on a planned curriculum with an advisor, and that guides her students to better understand investing and reach their financial goals. As a speaker and an educator, Barbara also taught the UCSD Investment Interest Group and has spoken to numerous businesses, associations, and non-profit organizations. She has been featured in the San Diego Business Journal, Sign-On San Diego, KPBS, and KUSI. Having three children of her own, Barbara has a passion for children and the challenges they face. Among her many activities, she has been a Girl Scout Leader, and has worked on numerous committees and boards, raising funds for child abuse prevention, after school programs, and healthcare.
