This Sunday is Winter Solstice, longest night of the year and a time for reflection and celebration rooted in the calendar of pre-Christian religious traditions often known as the "Wheel of the Year." Many in our West Shore community who embrace earth-based spiritualities, observe this calendar and the turning of the seasons. We'll explore the Yule holiday through dramatic presentation and song, story and symbols, and hear some reflections on the turning of the year back towards the light.
