With the school year off to a great start, Broward County Public Schools is wrapping up its annual Conversation with the District, which is a series of town hall-style meetings aimed at gaining input and feedback from parents, students and community members.
Among the topics of discussion has been the upcoming $800 million General Obligation Bond Referendum and SMART initiative that will be on the November 4th ballot. The District’s SMART initiative focuses on Safety, Music & Art, Athletics, Renovation and Technology. At a recent Conversation with the District meeting, Superintendent Robert W.
