“When I say artist I mean the one who is building things … some with a brush – some with a shovel – some choose a pen.” ~Jackson Pollock
We are living in exciting times as creators. Our stock is sky rocketing as corporations and economists realise that the creative class are responsible for generating innovative products, original ideas, cultural direction, change-making, dynamic design, authentic storytelling, and all things that can't be reproduced cheaply or easily. And if that's not enough, we are doing it with instincts that drive us to network, be resourceful, and with the intellect to value our freedom above comfort.
This week on The JellyVision Show, we dig into the definition and direction of the creative class, and what it means to live as a creative entrepreneur. Jump in the Jelly Jar with us as we swim in a pool of potential, and a time to rise to the occasion. This is our jam!
You will also be joining us for this week's edition of Coffee Talk! We discuss the recent gaff by The American Red Cross when they published a pool safety poster that was criticized immediately for being racist. What the Red Cross did was bad, but the people commenting on the story online are just plain frightening.
