Backbone Radio with Matt Dunn - November 13, 2016 - HR 3
The good-natured in-studio "Trump Rally" continues with our merry band of grassroots Deplorables and Irredeemables. We sample Donald Trump's acceptance speech and review his all-time best tweet, rendered on October 11th, at the lowest and bleakest point of his campaign: "Disloyal R's are far more difficult than Crooked Hillary. They come at you from all sides. They don't know how to win -- I will teach them!" An altogether amazing statement, given the circumstances. Also, we listen to Newt Gingrich consign the "little whiny sniveling negative cowards" known as "Never Trump" to "the ashbin of history." And we ask, why did Trump choose "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Rolling Stones as his campaign anthem? Cognitive Dissonance? With Listener Calls and Music via Journey, Jethro Tull, Van Halen, Lawrence Welk, Brad Paisley, The Smiths, Johnny Cash and The New Seekers. Plus, more Yodeling.
