Ep. 221: The Simplicity of Shoes
It's a vamptastic, vamptacular week! We dig on the priestly bloodsucker in Thirst, find My Sucky Teen Romance pretty damn charming, and feel like Kiss of the Damned is a little too artsy for its own good. The short, Prita Noire, is as pretty as it is baffling.
Next week! It's the tail end of Women in Horror month, and we're celebrating with three films by female directors:
XX, an all-female-director anthology: Amazon
Don't Look Back, a French New Extremism thriller: Shudder
Mirror/Mirror, an early 90's cheesefest: Shudder
Our short is Vanilla Cake, from Fun Size Horror.
Minnesota Folks: Join us on Sunday, Feb 26th for GET OUT! We're headed to the Showplace Icon in St. Louis Park for a 7 p.m. showing with beer and discussion to follow.
