About the Guest: Jeff Deist is president of the Mises Institute, where he serves as a writer, a public speaker, and a dedicated activist for free markets and a more libertarian society. He previously worked as a longtime advisor and chief of staff to Congressman Ron Paul, for whom he wrote hundreds of articles and speeches. In his years with Dr. Paul he worked with countless grassroots activists and organizations dedicated to reducing the size and scope of government.
Jeff also spent many years as a tax attorney advising private equity clients on mergers & acquisitions.

Liam Fitzgerald and the Rainieros, is an original honky tonk, western swing, country and western band. Liam Fitzgerald is the song writer for the band. They have played all over the Northwest and Western United States.
The latest release from Liam Fitzgerald and the Rainieros is titled, "Last Call", and is a collection of 10 original honky tong songs written by Liam. The album was produced and engineered by Johnny Mercury, and mastered by Ryan Foster Mastering in Portland, OR. This new recording features some of the finest country western musicians the Northwest has to offer.
