Questions I ask prior to meeting:
Business/Brand/Blog name: Brittney Hiller Yoga
Who are you/what role do you play in your business?: Founder & CEO
Tell me a little bit about yourself:: I began my entrepreneurial journey in 2014, officially. In 2012 I was "released" from a yoga studio after I refused to sign a contract stating I was unable to teach within 10 miles of said yoga studio. Thus, The Outdoor Yogini was born and since then has evolved into Brittney Hiller Yoga, kids yoga teacher, laughter yoga therapist, and soon to be yoga studio and spa owner.
What are the 2 biggest challenges you have with entrepreneurship: Time management and during the first three years - CLARITY.
I often thought I KNOW I want to do this, but HOW??
We are at the local coffee shop down the street and I'm about to leave. Tell me 3 things you want me to walk away with from our meeting.: Always remember your voice matters, someone somewhere needs YOUR message.
Tons of people sell toilet paper! (It's my go to reminder that JUST because I am not the ONLY yoga teacher out there doesn't mean I'm not SOMEONE'S yoga teacher.)
The sky is not the limit - your imagination is, therefore shoot higher.
Favorite drink: Chai Latte with Almond Milk
Name a place you would like to be at right now for this interview (we won't actually be there, but it's always nice to pretend right?): Lounging in my relaxation area in my Yoga Spa. 😃
Favorite quote:: I always wonder why birds stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth. Then I ask myself the same question. -Harun Yahya
((Don't worry I can't pronounce his last name either..))
